Job Description

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field. A master's degree in a relevant discipline would be advantageous.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of transportation planning principles, traffic engineering concepts, and sustainable mobility strategies. Familiarity with transportation modeling software and GIS tools is desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using transportation planning software such as VISSIM, TransCAD, Cube, or similar tools. Strong data analysis and visualization skills using software such as Excel, Python, or R.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in Arabic would be an asset.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex transportation issues and propose appropriate solutions. Ability to think critically, interpret data, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams, collaborating with engineers, planners, and other professionals. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies. Openness to embrace innovative approaches to transportation planning and mobility challenges.
- Passion for Sustainable Transportation: Demonstrated interest and commitment to sustainable transportation, including active transportation modes, public transit, and emerging mobility solutions.
