Job Description

  • Enable execution of HR related operational activities pertaining to on-boarding and off-boarding of employees (e.g., IT access, biometrics etc)
  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding services for new hires (which includes data collection, transfer and onboarding administration, issuance of contracts for employees) and the end-to-end employee separation processes (which includes end of service and termination)
  • Maintain and update the employees’ information in a database on a regular basis.
  • Monitor employees' attendance, check supporting documentation for any absences, ensure the manager's approval for overtime and reflect all details to the payroll schedule sent to the Finance Department.
  • Develop a payroll register that reflects all changes and events taking place within the business
  • Oversee and feedback efficiently on employee loan requests
  • Oversee and feedback efficiently on employees requests and statutory requirements
  • Management and maintenance of employees leave or time off requests
  • Manage employees end of service, exit interview and pre-calculation of end of service due to a retirement.
  • Communicate to all employees the disciplinary and managerial actions which will be taken to address unacceptable behaviour and execute them when required
  • Managing employee grievances
  • Report any defect, hazard or near miss in the workplace which might endanger food safety, health & safety, and environment and stop work if any hazard posing risk to Food Safety and HSE is identified
  • Ensure that the approved budget is being allocated as per the plans and highlight any deviation actual / foreseen to management
  • Contribute to the budget development process
  • Contribute to the preparation of workforce planning reports, talent acquisition action items and talent management activities at the section level
  • Monitor performance and provide feedback and advice to employees on meeting performance objectives
  • Provide guidance and support to reportees on operational and functional matters
