THE CHALLENGE

This position requires, at minimum, a current and active TS/SCI security clearance. Military veterans highly encouraged to apply.

Define and oversee database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation. Provide experienced technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment, and provide advice on data-based solutions to business problems and the operation and tuning of databases.

Optimize the database information and server for network performance, inclusive in the network clusters for replication and access in event of network fail over, and restoration.

Ensure the security of the database, software, and hardware are compliant with security measures using the risk management framework and NIST FIPS guidelines. Develop database structure, input forms, and reports for a contact directory and staff request forms.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
  
• 6+ years of experience in database development, management, and administration
  
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  
• Experience with C# programming
  
• Experience with determining and defining client database requirements
  
• Experience with developing job aids and guides
  
• Knowledge of the development of database structures, including input forms and reports
  
• Ability to write SQL statements with server-side programming
  
• HS diploma or GED
  
• Information Assurance Technician (IAC) Level 1 Professional Certification
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with SharePoint and SharePoint Servers
  
• Experience with server failover clusters
  
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Manager Studio and Windows Server Manager
  
• Bachelors degree
