TERRA ENERGY SERVICES:
TES is a new division of ACDI that solely focuses on power through clean energy. We believe Electric Vehicle Charging Stations are a way for our partners to promote and capitalize on the rapid push for electric vehicles and an overall, a more sustainable planet. This division will bring EV Chargers to market through ACDI s existing dealer network as well as looking for new opportunities for our current network to expand.
TECHNICAL PRODUCT AND SERVICES MANAGER @ ACDI:
The Technical Product and Services Manager will help drive product development growth as well as service opportunities around EV Chargers in the channel for the Terra division, largely contributing to the overall success of the company.
This dynamic team member will be the main technical liaison for our channel, building confidence in our products, hosting educational classes and webinars, serving as the point person on technical support, as well as advising on site planning for end customer implementations. This will require working well with all levels of internal management and staff, vendors, channel partners and customers alike. It will be of the utmost importance that team members support ACDI s mission, vision, and core values. Ensure discretion with confidential information, practice individual time management and encourage team members to implement healthy time management behaviors as well. Support a collaborative work environment including courteous, helpful, and professional behavior.
PRODUCT AND SERVICES MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Champion Technical Product Management duties at TES, including working closely with OEM Partners to initiate, cultivate and grow business relationships
Drive Field Services initiatives with Terra Channel Partners, including providing support to electricians and partners during installation and on-going maintenance
Continue to learn and be the knowledge leader for all things EV Chargers
Help identify, recommend and participate in relevant conferences, business & technical seminars, trade shows, etc.
Manage all technical pre and post sales activities for Terra s EVantage Programs; including but not limited to product education/training and ongoing technical support
Stay current with competitive landscapes, including EV Charging Manufacturers and EV Charging Networks
Cultivate manufacturer/partner relationships to gain product knowledge of Terra EV Chargers, providing insight and information internally and with dealers and customers alike
Present information (Demo s, webinars, written proposals) to representatives of dealer channel
Develop and maintain TES Technical Training courses
Support ACDI shipping/handling department with product transition
Seek opportunities to obtain user case studies and testimonials from top dealers
Strong knowledge of ACDI s CRM product, ZoHo, to effectively manage quotes, orders, inventory and sales pipeline
Ability to manage time effectively between calls, meetings, and technical trainings
Responsible for regularly presenting your performance metrics and goals to management
Contributes to team effort by collaborating internally with other teams such as marketing, accounting and PSD groups
Maintains a complete understanding of and adhere to all ACDI policies, procedures, and processes
Contributes to a positive organizational culture while upholding ACDI s mission, vision, and core values
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering; Apprentice Electrician; Journeyman Electrician; Master Electrician; Military Electrician Training
Industry experience and/or subject matter expert preferred with; Electric Vehicles; Electric Vehicle Charging; Solar / Green Energy
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) required
Experience presenting to executive level management preferred
Strong professional communication skills (via phone, email, and in-person), problem-solving, negotiation skills, technical capacity, project management, and collaboration
Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company or team information
Excellent organizational skills with and ability to think proactively, be adaptable to change, anticipate upcoming needs, and prioritize work
Ability to lead, facilitate, motivate and organize
Strives for excellence by setting priorities and following through
WHAT SETS YOU APART:
Experience in the Electric Vehicle space and/or software-as-a-service
Familiarity with EV Charging, including both hardware and software knowledge
Strong background and/or experience in electrical work
Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM Applications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Ability to travel up to 25% annually or as needed and fly on a commercial airliner if needed
May be required to furnish a passport or other identity documents for international travel
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Moderate noise level, bullpen environment located at ACDI headquarters - Remote position may be considered
