DESIGNATION : Electrical Draftsman/Design Engineer (INTERIOR FITOUT)
REPORTING TO : Contracts Manager
LOCATION : DUBAI UAE
Role Description
This is a fulltime onsite role for an Electrical Draftsman/Design Engineer located in Dubai. The Electrical Draftsman/Design Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems and products developing project specifications conducting research creating test processes and supervising electrical technicians. The Electrical Draftsman/Design Engineer will work with a team to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Prepare Electrical Lighting Emergency lighting Small power Cable containment CCTV Access control system Public address Voice & data Fire alarm layout and Low voltage schematics as per rules and regulations of DEWA ADDC & SEWA
Ensure that error free shop drawings and timely submission so as to avoid any undue delays in the project progress
Coordinate with project engineer in order to translate the design drawings into viable and accurate shop drawings
Prepare electrical load schedules and Schematic diagrams as per final load and DEWA ADDC & SEWA rules and regulations
Prepare voltage drop calculation to select the cable size
Create as built drawings at the end of the projects using the information gathered from the project personnel in order to ensure accurate billing from the client and/or main contractor
Visit site for making design correction as per the site requirements if necessary
Participate meeting with clients and others if necessary
