- Leading and engaging with Team Leaders and staff to achieve the highest possible levels of performance in dispatching orders.
- Completing tasks by a deadline.
- Setting direction to keep all members of the team fully aware of all activity within the department and wider business.
- Resilience and dedication; to enable business to meet peak demand at the busiest times of the year.
- Analysing and interpreting how to improve performance in ecommerce operation.
- Identifying and feeding back quality issues to line manager and buying teams.
- Planning for peak workloads through diligent scheduling and forecasting.
- Ensuring correct products are selected and sent out, with attention to detail in dispatching orders.
- Recruiting roles and managing performance and development.
- Adhering to all H&S policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all visitors and staff.
- Visible leadership presence on the warehouse floor, to ensure a quality service is delivered
- Identifying potential out-of-stock issues and communicating back to line manager and colleagues.
- Monitoring and reviewing results and evolving processes accordingly.
- Providing feedback to buying, merchandising and ecommerce teams, with any improvements that could be made to products, services, or procedures.
