Draughtsman Electrical

Responsibilities:

• Carry out duties assigned by superior for day-to-day operations and to ensure them to compliance with the established standards and procedures
• Prepare project deliverables for EIT engineering, assuring that they are mistake free and in line with project standards, yard EIT standard, and drafting standards.
• Preparation of design drawings following Class rules and as per guidance taken from responsible engineer.
• Identification, selection and design of EIT system / equipment for projects, as required
• Preparation of detailed & production design and development of 3D model.
• Producing of production fabrication and installation drawings
• Prepare cable block diagrams and termination drawings as per guidance and instructions given by Engineers.
• Should be competent in both manual drawing skills as wells as computer based application, such as automated computer assisted drafting (CAD)
• Preparation of Bill Of Materials, material top-ups requirements, weight calculations
• Identification of changes in client provided drawings and documents, preparation mark-ups for Technical Quarries and variation orders, as and when required
• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
