Job Description
- Creating technical drawings and plans, including schematics, blueprints, and diagrams, based on specifications and requirements provided by engineers, architects, or project managers
- Using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other drafting tools to produce accurate and detailed drawings
- Reviewing and modifying existing drawings to reflect changes or updates to designs or specifications
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that drawings are accurate, complete, and meet project requirements
- Creating and maintaining a library of drawings and design documents for future reference
- Conducting site visits and surveys to gather information and ensure that drawings are accurate and feasible
- Ensuring that all drawings and design documents comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to clarify design specifications and requirements
