Job Description
Education and Training: University degree in radiology technology or medical imaging. Some jobs may require a bachelor's degree in related fields such as medical physics or medical sciences.
Certificates and Licenses: Obtaining recognized certificates in diagnostic radiology techniques. The position may require professional licensing or specialty certifications such as ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Technical skills: In-depth knowledge of different types of diagnostic radiology such as X-ray, TV, MRI, and sonography. Ability to use and maintain radiology equipment.
Personal skills: Ability to deal with patients pleasantly and effectively, ability to work in a diverse medical environment and a multidisciplinary team.
