The Structural Design Engineer is responsible for designing and analyzing structures to ensure their strength stability and safety. This includes creating detailed structural drawings performing structural calculations and collaborating with architects and construction teams to implement designs. The engineer will also be responsible for reviewing and approving structural system installations. Strong technical skills knowledge of engineering principles and proficiency in structural design software are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to develop structural designs for G1 steel buildings.
- Utilize Staad Pro software to analyze and design structures efficiently.
- Create detailed structural drawings and documentation.
- Perform structural steel connection design and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Dubai Municipality License in G1 Steel Building Design and Contracting.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g. STAADPro SAP2000 ETABS).
- Strong knowledge of structural steel connection design principles.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Note: Only candidates with a Dubai Municipality License for G1 Steel Building Design & Contracting will be considered for this position.
