About the role

We are on the lookout for a CAD Drafter Design Coordinator who will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings specialising in FF&E details hospitality design and be responsible for high quality project design deliverables in both FF&E and construction documents.

As a CAD Drafter Design Coordinator you will report to the Design Manager on tasks and deliverables and work directly with him/her to ensure the facilitation of a projects completion; ontime on/underbudget and meets company quality standards. You will work on any/all phases of development including concept design schematic design design development construction documents and construction administration and be able to undertake design project technical drawings FF&E detailing and construction details.

You will also have the ability to work independently & translate concept to technical drawings details and FF&E details with minimal supervision and with maximum quality & precision. You will have the ability to take site measurements liaise with contractors assist with site visits coordination meetings site surveys and be proficient with interior design standards and knowledge of local codes would be an asset.

About you

The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of 34 years experience in a similar position and have exceptionally strong CAD skills with proven experience & the ability to translate concept to technical drawing packages and details and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

You will ideally have a bachelors degree or a diploma in Drafting/CAD and exceptional skills in AutoCAD 2D and / or 3D. You will also be proficient with MSOffice Outlook. SketchUp 3D modeling Photoshop software experience would also be an asset.
