Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Dell System Administrator and Support Specialist to manage our Dell environment and provide exceptional support to our customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating administrating and managing the entire Dell environment including raising support tickets with Dell Tech Support as needed proactively monitoring the health stability performance and capacity utilization of the environment and applying Dell best practices to ensure optimization measures are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise support tickets with Dell Tech Support as and when required
  • Proactively monitor the health stability performance and capacity utilization of the Dell environment
  • Apply Dell best practices and ensure optimization measures
  • Produce daily weekly and monthly reports
  • Provide knowledge transfer to customer local teams
  • Provide runbooks procedure manuals and improvement plans
  • Perform biannual environment deepdive health check and review for performance capacity utilization configuration compatibility and future design requirements
  • Implement improvement and optimization activities
  • Present improvement and optimization plans to customers
  • Assist in customer discussions with Presales for future growth plans and roadmaps
  • Provide onsite customer support during severe cases
  • Offer proactive services such as comprehensive healthchecks code/firmware upgrades and leveraged operational consultation and technical guidance
  • Handle adhoc customer requests OutofStandard Support

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Dell system administration and support
  • Proven experience in raising support tickets with Dell Tech Support
  • Strong knowledge of Dell best practices and optimization measures
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
