Generate new revenue and/or min. delegate numbers by selling delegate places to all Ventures
Connect events (face to face and online) according to given targets Identify opportunities to cross sell to our whole product portfolio including events, webinars, digital
marketing opportunities, DC Hub and any other activities.
Provide support, where needed, to ensure revenue is collected on sales that are made
Work towards sales, call rate targets and other KPIs set by the Commercial Director Ventures Connect
Provide detailed feedback and reliable pipelines to Commercial Director Ventures Connect/B2B Partner on the progress of each event and sales campaign
Contribute to new lead generation activities using all available resources
Following up all leads in a timely and pro-active manner (benchmark within 24 hours) Ensure consistence of any sales/marketing information (keeping customers apprised of current prices, discounts (if any), target audience, accurate product details, etc.)
Liaise closely with both the wider Ventures Connect and B2B teams and the event team to ensure sales activities are conducted in the most efficient manner, and in a way that is aligned with the wider business
Additional duties as required in support of the overall businesses and as the need arises
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and other relevant field
English is essential, Arabic a plus
Strong sales skills, including internal reporting
Demonstrated experience in selling large scale events and/conferences
Demonstrated experience developing processes to obtai leads through comparison and evaluation of possible sourcing opportunities Proven ability to achieve goal
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self motivated to work independently, with team support, to close business
Demonstrated commitment to completing tasks and objectives
Effectively work with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
