DataPower Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Creating various front side handlers (HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP) to implement Multi-Protocol Gateway service in Datapower appliances for protocol transformation.
• Creating Application Domains, objects like Web Service proxies, Multi-Protocol Gateways, XML Firewall as per the requirements.
• Creating security framework/Policies for the DataPower services using SSL, PKI (X.509), AAA, and WS-Security for secure communication.
• Responsible for the migration of Services from Dev to STG, PROD lower environments to higher environments
• Manage and configuring User & roles (local and ldap) with restrict access, domains and objects.
• Knowledge in debug, troubleshooting various issues by using logs, probes.
• Opening IBM PMR's and working with IBM for debugging issues.
• Performing regular backup/ restore and secure backup/secure restore management.
