Data Journalist

The National, the Middle East’s leading quality news organisation, is looking for a data journalist to join our data visualisation team.Candidates should have a proven ability to identify stories from data and then to tell those stories through attractive, compelling data visualisation. We are looking for self-starters with a passion for crunching numbers and converting them using data visualisation techniques into must-see content.A keen interest in and understanding of the news agenda in the Middle East is a strong advantage. You must have newsroom experience working in data journalism. Candidates should be proficient in relevant tools and applications.The successful candidate will report to our head of data visualisation journalism and work closely with our other data journalists, our infographic artists and our design team.
