Construction Supervisor

• Create, document and manage construction plans and goals for all projects.
• Oversee all aspects of the construction or renovation process, including scheduling contractors, materials procurement, and cost estimates.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Assist in the hiring and training of new staff.
• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to throughout the entire construction process, meeting all applicable laws and regulations.
• Liaise with stakeholders to provide required materials and information to complete projects.
• Handle customer service including responding to inquiries, responding to customer complaints, and resolving disputes.
• Manage daily tasks and ensure the project is running smoothly.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in construction management.
• Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and other parties involved with projects.
• Knowledge of safety requirements, building codes, and other legal regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle preferred.
