Job Description

- Lead the UZ1MMBD Construction team to support the objectives and strategies
- Champion safety in all construction aspects of UZ1MMBD and promote the safety objective that Nobody gets Hurt
- Manage the 1MMBD On Island Construction team responsible for the planning development and operations to ensure construction execution certainty
- Manage the UZ1MMBD Contractors construction planning and execution efforts to ensure compliance with UZ1MMBD Project objectives strategies obligations and requirements
- Establish a construction organization to implement the 1MMBD Project execution plans and procedures and coordinate resourcing of UZ1MMBD construction team positions
- Provide construction and execution strategy support to the 1MMBD Project Team through construction oversight and assistance
- Ensure that the 1MMBD Contractor and Subcontractors are compliant with project safety expectations policies and procedures
- Steward the development of an Integrated Safety Plan for 1MMBD construction including SIMOPS for all island and brownfield work
- Assist in the review and implementation of all 1MMBD Contractor safety plans
- Steward interfaces and interactions between the UZ1MMBD Contractor and other UZ Project entities Production Operations and Drilling
- Manage the interface with ADNOC Offshore OPCO to execute brownfield works in order to minimize disruption in ongoing production operations
- Ensure that the detailed design deliverables support constructability
- Report construction progress performance initiatives and issues to the Project Team
- Lead UZ1MMBD construction planning teams to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities
- Sponsor construction related readiness reviews constructability workshops and CERs
- Take a leadership role in mentoring and training UAE Nationals in construction management
- Clearly communicate to direct reports short term and long term goals that support the UZ1MMBD project objectives
- Encourage and recognize outstanding performance and ensure that staff are appraised regularly and developed accordingly
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent level of site experience in senior roles
- Minimum of twenty (20) years of previous. Construction management experience on large oil and gas development projects
- Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work with people across a diversity of cultures
