Communication and PR Specialist

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media, or public relation is preferred
• Strong English and Arabic language skills
• 5-8 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• nAssists the line manager in planning and executing department public relation plans.
• Drafts press releases, pitches, case studies, white papers, and media summaries.
• Assists and works with the subsidiaries' marketing departments and advises them on their campaigns.
• Builds relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts.
• Executes media requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Pitches story ideas and content to the team for further development.
• Ensures all communication is cohesive with the brand image.
• Tracks and analyses media coverage to inform future campaigns.
• Measures PR program impacts using regular reporting.
• Organizes, schedules, and prepares key leaders for press interviews.
• Implements, and tracks marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events.
• Analyses and reports on the performance and efficiency of campaigns Develops and monitors strategic advertising initiatives.
• Conduct market research and analyses trends to identify new advertising opportunities.
• Writes, proofreads, and edits creative and technical content across different mediums.
