Commis Chef

• Assist in the preparation of menu items according to the recipes and standards set by the Head Chef.
• Ensure that all ingredients are prepared and ready for service in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to coordinate the timing of dish preparation and ensure smooth service.
• Communicate effectively with team members to execute tasks efficiently.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of the items.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Properly label and store ingredients to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and notifying superiors of any shortages.

Requirements:

• Proven experience on a fine dining cuisine and techniques in Japanese-Peruvian, Mediterranean or Pan-Asian cuisine.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
• Creative flair with a passion for exploring new flavors and culinary trends
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure
