Job Description

  • Provide all necessary legal support in the overall scope of work to the procurement for the Saudi nuclear power project, as described in the Job Summary.
  • Support the drafting and the commercial discussions/negotiations of the Offtake agreement and any other related agreements and conditions required for selling the plant’s electricity to the principal buyer. Also, support the Financing and Business Development team in funding and financing matters and the project's commercial and corporate structure.
  • Identify and assess the risks and legal impediments arising from contracts for the procurement, development, supply, construction, ownership, and operation of nuclear power plants.
  • Assist outside counsel with developing the terms and conditions of all necessary contracts for the supply of nuclear plant technology.
  • Participate in legal negotiation processes with suppliers of nuclear plant technology during the project's bid evaluation and negotiation phase and with the chosen supplier to finalize all necessary contracts.
