Commercial Analyst

• Assisting the Commercial Finance Manager with the management accounting for the MEA Portfolio.
• Working with the Commercial Finance Manager to improve business efficiency and commercial decision making by enhancing management information and financial forecasting.
• Ensuring that processes are followed to provide and maintain a strong financial management and control environment
• To progress through professional exams (CIMA / ACCA / CMA etc)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Work with Finance teams to assist with preparation of monthly management accounts and commercial accrual postings.
• Keep Event trackers up to date with actual spend from FinanceForce on a regular basis.
• Work with the Commercial Finance Manager and the commercial teams where required on the budgeting and forecasting process across the MEA portfolio.
• Coordinate regular budget / forecast review sessions with the commercial teams.
• Helping to calculate commission/bonus payments in accordance with individual schemes for payroll.
• Provide quality analysis as required.
• Ensuring that the DMG MEA Event policies are communicated, implemented, and complied with, and a strong financial control environment is maintained.
• Carry out any reasonable project work / ad hoc task as requested.
• Attend training and development as required.
