Design and Planning: Develop conceptual and detailed designs for swimming pool structures, including pools, pools, foundations and retaining walls.
Prepare engineering drawings, plans and specifications in accordance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers and other stakeholders to incorporate civil engineering designs into overall bathroom layouts.
On-site investigation and analysis: Conduct site surveys and geotechnical investigations to evaluate soil condition, groundwater levels and suitability of the site for construction of the swimming pool.
Analyze site data and information to identify potential challenges, risks, and opportunities to improve the design.
Construction Management: Coordinate and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor progress, productivity and safety on site, and address any issues or concerns immediately.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify quality of work and adherence to construction plans.
Material Selection and Provision: Select appropriate construction materials, finishes, and coatings for pool structures based on resilience, performance, and aesthetic considerations.
Obtaining suppliers and vendors for building materials and equipment, and managing procurement processes to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.
Permits and Compliance: Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for swimming pool construction projects.
Ensure compliance with building regulations, retail regulations and environmental requirements throughout the construction process.
Communicate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to address permitting issues and resolve compliance issues as needed.
Documentation and Reports: Maintain accurate records of project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
Prepare progress reports, construction schedules and cost estimates for project stakeholders.
Assist in preparing as-is drawings and documentation after project completion.
