Civil Engineer - Fika Consultancy

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Civil Engineer will play a key role in the planning design and execution of civil engineering projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
Participate in the conceptualization planning and design phases of civil engineering projects including site investigations feasibility studies and cost estimates.

Prepare detailed engineering designs drawings and specifications in accordance with relevant codes standards and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with architects structural engineers and other stakeholders to ensure integration of civil engineering components into overall project designs.

Conduct structural analysis and design of various civil engineering structures including buildings bridges roads and drainage systems.

Perform quantity takeoffs cost estimates and prepare tender documents for construction projects.

Supervise and manage construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications quality standards and safety regulations.

Monitor project progress identify potential risks and issues and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters as needed.

Liaise with clients contractors and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and obtain necessary approvals.

Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in civil engineering to enhance project delivery and maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Masters degree is a plus.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.

Minimum of X years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on design and construction.

Proficiency in computeraided design (CAD) software and other engineering analysis tools.

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles practices and construction techniques.

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Familiarity with relevant local regulations codes and standards in Dubai and the UAE.

Legal authorization to work in Dubai.
