This is a remote position.

GovFirst is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Executive to support our client remotely.

The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening and advancing trusted relationships with HHS and have experience supporting HHS and its 12 operating divisions particularly NIH.

The candidate must understand current and evolving HHS programs and be knowledgeable of the strategies and requirements. The candidate must be familiar with and be able to exchange information and ideas with influencers and decision makers supporting HHS strategy, plans and programs.

Requirements

General responsibilities include identifying, qualifying, and supporting capture and closure on HHS business opportunities.

Customer & Government Relations:
  • Develop new relationships with mid and senior level leaders across HHS
  • Strengthen existing relationships with mid and senior level leaders across HHS
  • Demonstrated ability to discuss plans and key initiatives related to HHS enterprise IT programs
  • Build and maintain within the CRM, a robust network of customer relationships and meeting notes
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of the HHS competitive landscape and major competitors
  • Develop and track a Strategic Customer Engagement Plan that ensures robust customer contacts through scheduled meetings and events
  • Identify and monitor key U.S. Government Policy initiatives regarding HHS
Business Development & Strategy:
  • Assess customer s 3 5-year direction, trends, and strategic IT plan
  • Help develop new ideas and solutions to capture new business.
  • Actively engaged in pipeline development and demand generation
  • Demonstrate ability to put together compressive account plans and strategy
  • Ability to capture large multi-year IT annuity contracts
  • Ability to navigate and identity government solicitations and opportunities (Exhibit 300)
Strategic Communications:
  • Communicate the breadth and depth of solutions that support the customer s mission.
  • Set meetings with HHS influencers to identify and shape emerging opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain communication and feedback with Management throughout the identification, investment, capture and implementation of HHS Pursuits.
  • Account Management and Program Oversight:
  • Identify and monitor key federal Policy initiatives regarding the HHS missions.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and solutions to capture new HHS business
  • Work with designated HHS team to capture and shape customer opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess extensive understanding of HHS customers, concepts, and requirements.
  • Ability to develop and sustain customer relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
