Our client, a large international firm based in Abu Dhabi, is looking for Business Development Manager for Abu Dhabi location. The candidate would be responsible for driving business growth within the company. He should be able to have & develop a network of contacts to attract new clients.


He will be playing a critical role in driving our business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base. He will be responsible for developing and implementing effective business development strategies and initiatives, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue generation.


Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential target markets, customers, and partnerships. Assess the feasibility and potential profitability of new ventures and partnerships.
  2. Develop and implement business development strategies: Create and execute a comprehensive business development plan to achieve company objectives. Set ambitious targets for revenue growth and customer acquisition and develop strategies to accomplish them.
  3. Build strategic partnerships: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key industry players, including suppliers, distributors, and potential collaborators. Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  4. Lead the sales process: Take ownership of the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and deal closure. Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
  5. Cultivate and maintain client relationships: Build and nurture relationships with new and potential clients to maximize customer satisfaction and retention. Understand their needs, provide exceptional service, and proactively identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  6. Monitor market trends and competitive landscape: Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors activities. Use this information to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and adjust business development strategies accordingly.
  7. Marketing & Product Development: Align business development strategies with overall company objectives. Provide insights and feedback to enhance product offerings and improve customer experience.
  8. Track and analyze performance: Monitor and analyze business development metrics, including revenue growth, customer acquisition, and conversion rates. Generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:


  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and ability to identify new opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive informed business decisions.
  • Proficient in using MS software and other relevant tools.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions and work in a dynamic startup environment.
  • A pool of customers network & contacts.
  • Aviation or Defence Experience is desired.
  • Should have a strong network and contacts in the market.
