Job Title: Business Development Manager Forwarding

Location: Dubai United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Salary Range: AED 12000 to AED 18000

Gender: Any

Sales Target: 04 times of gross salary

Salary: As per sales target or based on existing sales volume

Benefits: Annual ticket monthly fuel allowance insurance SIM card and sales commission as per company standard

Overview: As a Business Development Manager specializing in Forwarding you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our client base in Dubai UAE. Your primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the forwarding industry meeting sales targets and maximizing revenue generation. This position requires a proactive and resultsoriented individual with strong sales acumen excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding sector.



Requirements

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Target Achievement:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets set by the company aiming to generate revenue equivalent to four times the gross salary.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the forwarding industry including air sea and land freight.
  • Monitor sales performance analyze results and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Prospect qualify and onboard new clients in the forwarding sector building and maintaining strong relationships to foster longterm partnerships.
  • Conduct regular client visits presentations and negotiations to secure new business and expand the customer base.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
  1. Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives and market trends to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Identify key market segments trends and competitive landscapes to capitalize on emerging opportunities and gain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop innovative sales initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  1. Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze sales metrics including but not limited to sales volume revenue and profit margins to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management providing insights recommendations and forecasts to support decisionmaking processes.
  • Utilize CRM software and other sales tools to maintain accurate records of sales activities client interactions and sales forecasts.

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Logistics or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales preferably within the logistics shipping or freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong understanding of forwarding processes international trade and supply chain management.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Resultsoriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Other Specific Criteria:

  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client requirements.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity professionalism and ethical conduct.


Essential Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the audiovisual equipment industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using billing and inventory management systems. Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment and technology. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Sales-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.
