Job Description
Are you a caring, compassionate nurse who would like to develop, group with a team who thrive on providing excellent care for their Residents? The care group is always expanding and there is room for progression. To promote and maintain the highest attainable standard of nursing care within the centre and ensure that all staff are performing their duties adequately.
RecruitNet is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, quality care to a child with Complex Care needs within a home setting.
- Salary range: 24-25 EUR per hr starting, ( 50,000 - 54,000 annual)
- The Nurse will have just 1 house in one shift.
- 2 Night shifts per week
- Monday-Friday 23:00-07:00
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent evidenced based nursing care and implement all aspects of the child s care plans based on the needs identified
- To prioritise the needs and comforts of the child and family
- To safeguard the interest of the child always
- Work closely in partnership with family members
- Act as a liaison between the family and the care team
- Maintain a high standard of infection control for self and others
Requirements
- Enteral feeding
- Suctioning
- Medication Management
- Full assistance with ADL s
- Seizure Management
- Family support
- Must be RGN/RCN trained (RNID considered dependant on experience).
