Business application Manager - IT Only UAE Nationals

Manage and coordinate the IT Applications function and resources to ensure that all their tasks are executed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.

Review and evaluate the work of Managed Service resources under his / her supervision while ensuring programs are of appropriate and comply with the Departmental policies and procedures.

Prepare reports on the overall performance of the IT applications function

Manage & Optimize the current Oracle ERP System

Ensure the availability of required resources to carry out all the tasks required by this function.

Perform periodic performance appraisals for the Managed Services team and other staffs within the function.

Ensure that all IT applications & ERP staff possess the required skills and knowledge for the delivery of the activities within this function

Review Applications & ERP policies and procedures and ensure IT applications/ERP resources are adhered to

Working as a key part of the team to ensure that IT is deployed efficiently within the business and in line with the organization s IT Strategy

Provide subject experience, implementation skills for business solutions

Assist the IT service desk as necessary to provide first class support services to satisfy the needs of our customers. To progress any support calls and liaise with IT staff and 3rd parties to ensure the prompt resolution of all requests in line with the Service/Operational Level Agreements

To act as application lead for IT business application projects and implementations ensuring that all measures are taken for successful delivery

Provide support outside core hours for extended support during project implementations when required by the business

To manage and develop data integrity and security standards for the systems, co-coordinating requests for access within agreed parameters

To organize regular meetings with system users to maintain a working awareness of their service operations

Responsible for the analysis, evaluation, development, testing and implementation of complex computer software applications.

Development, monitoring and implementation of policies and procedures within this function

Plan, direct, coordinate and review the work plan for resources and other staffs under his / her control.

Review and evaluate work products, methods and procedures.

Leads the IT infrastructure and applications team initiating infrastructure upgrades, technology refreshes, and capacity expansion projects when as required.

Prepare various documentation including project reports, process and user manuals, presentations, delivery plans, etc.
