About the job:
The Ecommerce Director is an integral member of the marketing team who manages the day-to-day operations, marketing, strategy, execution, analysis, growth, and development of one or more of the company s e-commerce sites(s) within the portfolio. The Ecomm Director is forward thinking, goal orientated, passionate about building and driving a healthy ecommerce ecosystem by perfecting user experiences, increasing conversions, and driving revenue for CPG sales with B2C (retail) and B2B (wholesale) environments. This position collaborates with the marketing team as they formulate and execute large-scale ecommerce plans to achieve ecommerce goals and is supported by a team of professionals who provide necessary creatives and collateral. The normal shift is 40 hours per week, shared between remote working and in our offices. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and management.
Essential Functions
Ideate, develop, and execute regular e comm promotions that deliver maximum effectiveness. Position requires measurement and reporting on ongoing results, measured through analysis of performance data to synthesize daily, weekly, monthly sales performance against set KPIs and revenue goals.
Define and drive key brand strategies across multiple marketing channels while optimizing revenue programs and gain new customers/channels in an effort to increase online traffic and achieve performance goals.
Conduct ongoing research of new or competing products to remain proficient within the industry, and continuously optimize user experiences to ensure best practices for consumers to discover and purchase our products. Management of SEO, Email, Social, and Paid & Affiliate campaigns on a variety of platforms while working with cross-functional teams and agencies.
Grow and nurture the customer database, engage idle customers, develop programs to capture market share and grow the ecommerce brand.
