Billing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices for billing purposes
• Verify and reconcile billing information with internal records
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
• Respond to customer inquiries related to billing discrepancies or payment issues
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer billing information
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Generate reports on billing activities and provide analysis as needed
• Support the billing team in various administrative tasks as assigned
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field is a plus
• Proven experience in billing or related role
• Strong knowledge of billing procedures and best practices
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
