AutoCAD Draughtsman

Responsibilities

• Create and modify technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to understand project requirements.
• Translate conceptual designs into detailed drawings, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Review and revise drawings to eliminate errors and inconsistencies.
• Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and measurements for drawing creation.
• Prepare drawing sets and documentation for project submission and review.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience working with AutoCAD software.
• Proficient in drafting techniques, including scale, dimensioning, and technical symbols.
• Knowledge of construction and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Associate degree in drafting, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) software is a plus.
