Education and training:

An Assistant Catering and Conference Services Sales Manager is typically required to possess an associate's degree in event management, marketing, or a related field. Having a master's degree or professional certifications such as the Certification in Event Management (CMP) can be an added advantage.
Experience:

It is preferable to have previous experience in marketing, event management and catering. Experience in organizing and implementing events and conferences will be an added advantage.

You must have strong selling skills and the ability to analyze customer needs and provide relevant solutions.
