- Contribute effectively to carry out teaching of diverse theoretical and practical biology/biotechnology courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels including general biology/tissue culture/industrial biotechnology/food biotechnology/molecular biology courses.
- Conduct high quality research work in the biotechnology area & contribute effectively to build research groups in biotechnology.
- Recruit external and internal research funds.
- Provide academic and professional advising to students.
- Contribute to curriculum and program development.
- Contribute in the academic assessment processes.
- Contribute to community services.
