Person Specification Qualifications Essential

• Good standard of education including GCSE in English and Maths minimum grade C or equivalent
• NVQ 3 in business related subject or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
  

Desirable

• Willingness to study for further work-related qualifications including CIP's qualifications.
  

Experience Essential

• Experience of Microsoft software including Word & Excel.
• Experience of working within a purchasing environment
• Previous experience of undertaking general administration tasks
  

Desirable

• Procurement skills - knowledge of computerised purchase ordering systems.
• Previous experience of working in the NHS
  

Knowledge Essential

• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
