Drive all aspects of branch operations including but not limited to: Business Development, Recruiting & Operations Compliance with a focus on Sales. The Market Development Manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding the minimum expectations for Weekly, Monthly and Annual Sales Metrics. The Market Development Manager assists in identifying future regional market sites. The Market Development Manager role graduates to a Business Development Director position once the branch reaches the GM$ determined by Senior Management.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • FIRST & FOREMOST, the Market Development Manager #1 role and responsibility is to drive new business through the Sales Process.
  • Market Development Manager must have the ability to call on C-Level executives, hiring managers, plant managers and supervisors in various industries.
  • Market Development Manager must have the ability to recruit associates and place associates on assignment.
  • Solicit new business by pursuing leads through consultative sales.
  • Cold calling-virtual & face-to-face.
  • Implement Marketing Campaigns.
  • Secure minimum sales metric expectations.
  • Prompt follow up on all leads and opportunities.
  • Understand pricing models & processes to secure profitable business.
  • Accurately log and maintain sales activity into CRM system.
  • Perform credit checks and obtain corresponding WC Codes for new business.
  • Setup new clients in ATS system.
  • Perform necessary safety walk through/evaluations.
  • Adhere to compliance policies.
  • Exercise independent judgement and critical thinking in handling responsibilities related to new business development and recruiting.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.
