We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scientific Writing and Mentoring Consultant to provide expert guidance and support to researchers and scientists in developing their scientific writing skills. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing, editing, mentoring, and coaching skills, and will be able to help researchers and scientists improve the quality and clarity of their scientific writing. As a mentor, you will work one-on-one with clients to identify their strengths and weaknesses and develop strategies to help them overcome any obstacles they may be facing. You will also provide guidance on scientific writing conventions, time management, and research design, and help clients develop a clear and effective writing style that effectively communicates their research findings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one mentoring to researchers and scientists on scientific writing skills
- Review and provide feedback on scientific writing, including structure, content, and writing style
- Develop and implement strategies to improve clients scientific writing skills
- Advise clients on scientific writing conventions and best practices
- Help clients develop effective research design and methodology
- Provide guidance on time management and productivity
- Help clients develop a clear and effective writing style that effectively communicates their research findings
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in scientific writing and research design

Requirements
- A PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, etc.)
- At least 5 years of experience working as a writing coach or mentor for scientific research projects
- Exceptional writing, editing, mentoring, and coaching skills
- Familiarity with scientific writing conventions and research design principles
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with a range of scientific fields and research methodologies
