- You Will design, develop, implement, and deploy AWS cloud
- You Will provide incident management, change management, application support, monitoring, and Tier 2 support as part of the full cycle team
- You Will ensures scalability, fault tolerance, and performance across all software they are responsible
- You Will work closely with technical architects, functional analysts, and product managers to translate requirements into technical
- You Will perform code reviews and provide feedback, following coding standards and best practices, including secure coding
- You Will write clear, well-commented, and easy to understand
- All engineers are expected to place a strong emphasis on writing automated tests, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end functional
- You Will be part of an on-call support

- You Will take a proactive role in continuous improvement including tools, workflows, and processes
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in designing and building software applications
- Experience with the AWS Cloud
- Strong object-oriented design and programming
- Experience in Java, Python, or C#, targeting multiple platforms ( Windows, Linux) and application types ( console, web site, REST API).
- Experience with front end JavaScript frameworks ( Angular, React) and web servers ( Apache, Nginx, IIS).
- Understanding of challenges associated with high availability, 24×7 applications and
- Experience with Amazon ECS, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS Lambda, or Amazon EC2 good to have
- Experience working with and managing container development, deployment, and operations on AWS, specifically with ECS on
- Experience developing serverless applications, using Lambda, Dynamo DB, SNS, SQS, and
- Experience with Git, Confluence, and
- Experience with CI/CD tools ( CodePipeline, TeamCity) and infrastructure as code tools ( Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience working with, or an understanding of, NoSQL databases and relational
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) is an
- An understanding of 12-factor applications and cloud-native
- Experience with various message-brokering architectures (pub/sub queues, request/response) and data
- AI, Machine Learning, and Data Engineering experience is an
- Experience with testing frameworks ( Junit, Nunit, Selenium), and testing tools ( JMeter, Postman, Cucumber).
- A healthy blend of deep technical knowledge with customer-focused mindset and empathy
- Experience with Sensitive Data Environments (PCI, HIPAA, )
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Remote work flexibility in US/Canada
- Hours of work 40 hrs/week
- Ability to work non-standard hours including weekends and holidays occasionally
