University degree in architecture or related field.
Deep knowledge of architectural principles and concepts.
A deep understanding of local and national architectural and building codes and regulations.
Ability to assess architectural risks, identify problems, and direct effective solutions.
Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions based on available evidence.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients and contractors.
Good reporting skills for documenting tests, observations, and recommendations.
