Architect Designer

• Follow all relevant Development department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement • Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within the company. • Perform other duties as assigned. • liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects • Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design • working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists • applying for planning permission and advice from governmental new build and legal departments • writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts specifying the requirements for the project • Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections • Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations
