Before starting works, check the supplier's delivery schedule of material and technical documents.
Verify whether this schedule is consistent with construction schedules and contractual obligations.
Verifying that the said schedule is maintained, and promoting action to recover any delays.
Verifying that the equipment and manpower employed by the subcontractor are adequate and that the works carried out by the subcontractor comply with the design documents, safety regulations and quality level specified by himself.
Prepare a non-conformity register for each subcontractor and coordinate the resolution of non-conformities.
Find out any design errors and fix them if possible or ask the site engineer to make the necessary changes.
Check subcontractors' work progress sheet and sign it for approval.
Manage supplier specialists.
Assist the contract engineer in setting new prices, preparing subcontractor adjustments and analyzing and discussing claims.
In the head office (when possible) to collaborate with the project team for feasibility and robustness studies, with APPAL for technical scheduling of civil bidders and clarification meeting with bidders, with the civil department to analyze/define work orders included in the subcontractor's scope of work.
