Accounts Payable Representative

Job Description

A large and growing Sporting Goods Wholesaling company (swimming pool equipment, parts and supplies, and related outdoor living products, etc.) is seeking a Accounts Payable Overhead Representative to join their team. There are currently 5 members on this team, and you will be a part of the Accounting department as a whole. The entire department is extremely communicative, high-energy, collaborative, and has an incredible team culture. This is a onsite role, Monday - Friday, and they are very eager to have someone join! Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Review Vendor invoices for accuracy and resolve all discrepancies

- Use company policy and procedures to resolve issues according to the type of discrepancy

- All approvals are based on the Delegation of Authority -- must follow these guidelines

- Identify and confirm terms of vendors and ensure invoices are paid timely

- Ensure amounts and charges are correct

- Obtain and verify W-9 on all vendors
