Ensure correct management of the activities involved in the execution of the assigned offshore drilling projects in accordance with statutory legislation, client programs, Saipem procedures and contractual requirements.

Ensure all conditions are met for safe working conditions on the rig site at all times Take actions to avoid pollution to the marine environment Actively participate to HSE inspections/audit on the rig site Call for / participate to investigations in case of serious incidents Apply and ensure the correct application of prescribed Operative standards and regulations Ensure Saipem and Client HSE and Q/A policies and standards are implemented on rig sites Be well-informed about environmental aspect on site, full knowledge of Saipem environmental procedures, applying them and promoting their implementation Ensure that personnel assigned on drilling project receives appropriate theoretical and practical training to cover the required competences Ensure correct management of the activities involved in the execution of the assigned drilling projects Ensure that the non-productive time of the rigs is limited up to a certain targeted level Monitor the good execution of drilling program supplied by the Client and notify timely any possible technical issue Be well-informed about the established well control and drilling operational procedures Ensure that the local content complies with local regulations and the sustainability level required by the corporate Cooperate with the logistic function to ensure material and personnel are transferred to the rig site and vice versa Ensure that the Asset Management Operative System (AMOS) is rigorously implemented, in order to survey, test and maintain all rig machinery/equipment, including Emergency and Safety systems and all Corporate owned/rented equipment which may be operated on/from the rig, in accordance with statutory, class, Flag state, company requirements and standards Verify that the maintenance routines of drilling equipment/assets are appropriate and guarantee an efficient performance of drilling activities Liaise with the Clients representative ashore regarding contract management andinterpretation, well program definition, preparation and coordination of operations Cooperate with the rig site management personnel in performing the rig moving activities by supervising the work of own subordinates Provide support to the Drilling Operations Manager / Drilling Area Manager in the country by performing controls aimed at achieving security objectives as per Saipem Security standards/regulations Ensure compliance with society and Authority rules and regulations Ensure that warehouse values are kept at a certain targeted level.
