As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing ABA therapy in the Your job is to be an agent of positive change in the life of a child who can be experiencing language delays and/or behavioral As the most critical member of the child s therapy team, you will work alongside your clinical supervisor to bring about profound change in the lives of children with
Position Details:
- Part-Time
- Morning, Afternoon and Evening Schedules
- Flexible Scheduled Days Monday through Saturday
- Multiple Work Locations
Behavior Technician Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism 3 5 days per
- Actively participate in meetings and trainings
- Implement Feedback in the Moment from Clinical Supervisors
- Bring a positive, creative, energetic and compassionate attitude to each treatment session
- Be punctual and responsible
- Collect Data throughout treatment sessions
- Complete daily session treatment notes
- Maintain the safety and dignity of the children being treated
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a committed and compassionate person with a strong desire to help children and families
- Previous experience working with children
- Must be reliable, consistent and have a strong work ethic
- Must have a High School Diploma
- Must have reliable means of transportation
- Must have a valid driver s license and vehicle insurance
- Ability to pass a State and Federal Background Check
- Excellent writing and communication skills
Physical Requirements For Working with Young Children:
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to be in a kneeling position
- Ability to bend over frequently
- Ability to get up from the floor with ease
- Ability to run and play with children
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with special needs, , autism or developmental delays strongly preferred
- Ability to work well independently and seek assistance when needed
- Possess strong attention to detail for data collection
- Organized, flexible, able to follow instructive guidance and willing to take constructive feedback
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to maintain client confidentiality
- Record of success in previous positions as evidenced by excellent references
- Comfortable using technology
Benefits
Compensation and Training Benefits:
$20-25/hour for the first year with the ability to earn yearly raises
