PLSQL Developer

• Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions for the application, according to business requirements in UNIX and Windows environments.
• Develop PL/SQL store procedures, packages, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and data loading (ETL).
• Work with advanced features of PL/SQL like collections, nest table, ref cursors, materialize views, and dynamic SQL.
• Develop load processes and data warehouse integration ETL procedures.
• Develop PL/SQL procedures to create database objects dynamically based on user inputs.
• Create database tables, create various DB queries, and assist in data mapping/testing activities in support of project.
• Detail and problem-solving oriented in ETL, jobs, and addressing production issues such as performance tuning and enhancement.
• Knowledge on any BI reporting is advantage.
• Extensively worked with third-party database tools like TOAD & PL/SQL Developer.

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in application development using Oracle Databases
• Ideally, candidate has Oracle Certified DB Professional (OCP) certificate.
  

Ideally, you’ll also need

• Experience should include DB design (modelling and normalization), performance tuning, Data Partitioning, managing schemas, data security, report generation and DB clustering technologies, creating and configuring 24x7 highly-available databases.
• Extensive UNIX/LINUX experience
• Hands-on experience with DB standards and end-user applications-translating capacity requirements into infrastructure deployment technology
• Strong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC (ASM) environment with latest versions, logical/physical standby, ETL, replication
• Must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
• Experience in an organization with a key reliance on 24/7 reliability on its database
