We are seeking a highly driven and performance-oriented Head of Sales Air Freight Business Development with a strong hunter sales mentality to lead aggressive market expansion and revenue growth within the air freight division.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to achieve ambitious air freight revenue targets.
- Identify prospect and close new clients through cold calling networking industry events and strategic outreach.
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities and convert leads into long-term business relationships.
- Focus heavily on new account acquisition (hunter profile) rather than account maintenance.
Client & Commercial Management
- Engage with key decision-makers across industries.
- Lead commercial negotiations RFQs pricing discussions and contract finalization.
- Design tailored air freight solutions aligned with client supply chain requirements.
Market Strategy & Collaboration
- Monitor market trends airline capacity pricing dynamics and competitor activities.
- Collaborate closely with operations pricing and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
- Contribute to strategic planning and expansion initiatives within the air freight vertical.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Maintain structured pipeline tracking and accurate sales forecasting.
- Deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership.
- Drive KPIs aligned with revenue growth gross margin and customer acquisition targets.
