Job Summary

Reporting to: Site Supervisor

Functional Co-ordination: Installation Operation and Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation replacement and maintenance of AMI smart gas residential and commercial gas meters at residential buildings restaurants and commercial facilities.
Assist in EVC (Electronic Volume Corrector) installation configuration and testing including base pressure/temperature and flow verification under supervision.
Operate inspect and maintain PRMS equipment including pressure regulators valves filters and associated instrumentation.
Conduct leak detection tightness testing pressure monitoring and functional checks of gas meters and associated systems.
Support the calibration testing and troubleshooting of field instruments and measurement devices.
Follow site work instructions method statements and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures always ensuring safe operations.
Maintain accurate site logs maintenance records and asset documentation under supervision of Site Supervisor.
Report equipment malfunctions abnormal readings and HSE hazards promptly to supervisors or engineers.
Assist in emergency response activities including gas leak isolation purging and safety shutdowns.
Ensure proper handling storage and care of tools equipment and meters maintaining operational readiness.
Cooperate with QC and HSE personnel during inspections audits and testing to ensure compliance with standards.
Participate in on-the-job training and skill development programs to enhance technical proficiency and safety awareness.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Electrical Instrumentation or related technical discipline.
Gas-related training or certifications are an advantage.
Basic knowledge of AMI smart meters EVCs and PRMS operations preferred.

Experience

25 years of field experience in city gas distribution utilities or oil & gas operations.
Hands-on experience in meter installation maintenance and gas distribution system operations is highly preferred.
Familiarity with ADNOC HSE procedures PTW systems and technical documentation.
