Job Summary
About the Role:
This role provides hands-on claims expertise within a growing insurance operation. The position focuses on operational delivery reporting and stakeholder coordination rather than strategic leadership. It supports internal claims processes and contributes to external market engagement as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review assigned claims files including complex cases
- Coordinate with underwriting and internal teams on coverage reserving and settlements
- Support broker and reinsurer communication on claims matters
- Contribute to large loss and CAT claims reporting
- Assist in preparing portfolio reports and performance dashboards
- Ensure claims activities align with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- ACII or equivalent (desirable not essential)
- Degree preferred but not mandatory
- 3 years claims experience in specialty or commercial insurance
- Comfortable working with brokers and internal stakeholders
- Exposure to audits reporting and compliance processes is an advantage
