• You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests including assisting with boarding disembarking and any other special requests to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• Youll also maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the boat to uphold the hotels standards.
• Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance of the boat to ensure it is in optimal condition.
• Planning and executing enjoyable leisure trips including recommending scenic routes and points of interest.
• Communicate effectively with guests to provide information about the trips safety procedures and any upcoming activities or events.
• Collaborate with other colleagues to coordinate guest transportation schedules and ensure seamless experiences.
• Ensuring the safety of our guests during transport and leisure trips on the boat.

The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a Boat Captain but well make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel.

• Youll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
• You have a talent for problem solving and addressing unexpected challenges such as adverse weather conditions or mechanical issues.
• Proficiency in navigation techniques including chart reading GPS usage and understanding of maritime laws and regulations.
• Attention to details for conducting thorough safety inspections and adhering to protocol to prevent accidents or incidents.
• Adaptability to handle varying conditions at sea and adjust plans accordingly to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills for effectively coordinating with potential crew members passengers and other vessels.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
• Proficiency in other languages such as: French Italian Spanish is appreciated.
• A valid UAE Pleasure Marine Craft Driving License isrequired for this role.
• Prior experience in either UAE Europe or South Africa is appreciated.
• Experience with small boats/medium e.g. Sunseeker Predator 57 boats will be preferred.
