Job Summary
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Civil Lab Technician to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Civil Lab Technician you will play a crucial role in conducting various tests on construction materials and ensuring the quality and safety of civil engineering projects.
with site team for daily inspections and arranging third party/ DCL accordingly
and witness tests on site with third party lab in coordination with Consultant Engineer
the Samples in DCL/Third party lab
with subcon/Lab for test reports
the Testing logs (FDT Concrete .) on daily basis
concrete pouring record for daily concrete works on site
the lab as per Standard/Requirement
QA/QC Engineer for daily NMR/MIR Inspections on site
Qualifications :
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- 23 years of experience in a civil engineering laboratory setting
- Proficiency in using various laboratory equipment and testing procedures
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering materials and their properties
- Familiarity with quality control standards and safety protocols
- Ability to use data analysis software and prepare technical reports
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant certifications in laboratory testing procedures (e.g. ACI ASTM) preferred
- Understanding of civil engineering principles and construction materials
- Willingness to work in both laboratory and field environments
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and samples as needed
