Job Summary
Technician - Electrician
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment in paper manufacturing lines.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in machines such as paper machines winders rewinders and related systems.
- Maintain motors drives (VFDs) control panels and PLC-based systems.
- Ensure smooth functioning of production equipment with minimal downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings schematics and P&IDs.
- Support installation testing and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
- Coordinate with production and mechanical teams for efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 5 years of relevant experience in the paper manufacturing industry.
- Qualification: Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems PLCs and industrial automation with good troubleshooting abilities.
